Motor vehicle accidents are an unfortunate part of reality for those who choose to enter the roadways. In some cases those accidents involve serious damages to property or injuries to other involved parties. An SUV accident may be one of the most dangerous types of accidents in which an Ohio resident can be involved.

After hitting another vehicle at an intersection, an SUV almost hit a customer in a coffee shop as it careened through the front of the shop. Although police are investigating the cause of the accident that led to the crash, the driver reportedly received two citations for the accident. The report also states that the police are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor at the time of the Monday morning accident.

The driver of the SUV reportedly ran a red light, then hit another vehicle. As a result, his SUV went between two light poles and into the coffee shop. A customer, who was warned by another customer, managed to escape the same horrible fate as the table and chair he had occupied.

Drivers in both vehicles were reportedly taken to the hospital with injuries, but no one in the coffee shop was injured. The customer who managed to escape the careening SUV unharmed suffered damage to the two laptops on which he was working. The shop reportedly suffered an estimated $35,000 in damages, but the owner of the shop claims he will rebuild.

An Ohio driver who is involved in an SUV accident can face a variety of injuries. The injuries can have lifelong consequences that can effect an individual’s livelihood. The victims of accidents caused by recklessness or negligence, like the driver of the other vehicle involved in this accident, may file personal injury claims to seek compensation for the injuries and losses they suffer.
