The Columbus Dispatch, "Jury awards $4.2 million to teacher after tragic fall", April 13, 2006: A Columbus, Ohio jury awarded Tessa Zanke full compensation for an injury suffered when she fell on ice outside her apartment. The jury found that her landlord was responsible for removing the gutters from Ms. Zanke's building, allowing ice three inches thick to accumulate on the sidewalks leading to her apartment. CP attorneys Jim Arnold and Greg Smith represented Ms. Zanke.
