Andy is

Super Lawyers. Andy is also a past president of the Franklin County

Since 1996, Andy has
been widely recognized as a leading nursing home abuse lawyer in Ohio, after
he obtained one of the largest jury awards in the state against a nursing home
operator. Since that time, Andy has helped dozens of families who have
experienced the death of loved one as a result of neglect or abuse in a
long-term care facility.
Andy also has
substantial experience in product liability law, including cases involving
fire and explosions, as well as pharmaceuticals and medical devices. His
experience includes many multiple plaintiff cases. In the early 1990's,
Andy represented dozens of persons who had suffered serious burns caused by
defective coolant systems in Renault automobiles.
More recently, Andy has
taken a leading role in pharmaceutical litigation, representing hundreds of
patients who suffered heart attacks or strokes, after taking Vioxx or
Bextra. Andy also represents children who have suffered
catastrophic injury as a result of various antidepressant medications,
including Paxil.
Additionally, Andy
represents many folks who have suffered injury or death as a result of
defective heart devices. He has substantial involvement in the
defibrillator litigation, with cases pending in both state and federal courts
in Ohio, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Andy also handles complex consumer matters, including class actions and multi-district litigation.
Andy is admitted to
practice in all of Ohio's trial courts, both at the state and federal
level. He has also been admitted to the United States Supreme Court, as
well as trial courts outside Ohio, serving as trial counsel for lawyers who
request assistance in bringing complex cases before judges and juries.
