Clark, Perdue Assists West Virginia Attorney General in Obtaining $4.4 million Verdict Against Pharmaceutical Powerhouse Johnson & Johnson.
Andrew List and Anapol Schwartz lawyer Barry Hill, along with Robert Goldberg, represented the State of West Virginia in a consumer fraud action against pharmaceutical manufacturer Johnson & Johnson. After a trial to the court, West Virginia Circuit Judge Martin Gaughan entered a 77-page decision awarding $4,475,000.00 to the State of West Virginia.
Raptiva Drug Alert
In 2003, the FDA approved Raptiva for the treatment of psoriasis. Then, on February 19, 2009 the FDA issued a Public Health Advisory warning of certain adverse events secondary to the use of Raptiva. These include life-threatening infections, such as bacterial sepsis, viral meningitis, invasive fungal disease and other opportunistic infections. An additional risk is the rare and usually fatal condition called progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML).

Wyeth Decision -- United States Supreme Court Rejects Limits on Drug-Injury Lawsuits

Insurance Alert! Expired License Could Invalidate Auto Insurance Coverage
An Ohio appellate court recently held that motor vehicle liability insurance did not apply to an accident that occurred while the insured's driver's license had expired, even though the insured renewed it within the statutory grace period.
